With a dollop of serenity, we could pretend that the Colorado Convention Center sits nestled in the Rocky Mountains, lathered in sunshine and the kisses of curious fawns. In real life, the Denver Convention Center sits in the middle of downtown Denver, CO. The most notable wildlife? It’s a giant blue bear.
While this might not be ideal for those hoping to find the solitude to write the next great American novel or channel their inner Monet, it is ideal for those in the advertising industry. Opportunities abound!
So, what is the Colorado Convention Center?
The Colorado Convention Center is a place that holds – wait for it! – conventions! It also plays host to other events, conferences, corporate and prfrom ivate. Among these invents include Comic-Con, the Home and Garden Show, the Bridal Show, The Great American Beerfest, and the Denver Auto Show.
From an advertising perspective, the center offers both indoor and outdoor marketing. The indoor kiosks advertising screens are 55” and strategically located throughout the building. Advertisers can pick one or two creatives in a rotation and purchase multiple spots.
The digital billboards outside surround the Colorado Convention Center; they offer advertisers the chance to feature two-ad rotations, 24-7. Choose static or full motion in HD. The billboards reach roads going into and out of downtown, which – as locals will tell you – have plenty of stop-and-go and stop-some-more traffic plus reaching attendees as they walk in. There are also ones that do a great job of targeting the hotels surrounding the Convention Center; Hyatt Regency Denver, Embassy Suites by Hilton Denver Downtown, Four Seasons Hotel Denver, The Curtis Denver, Hotel Teatro Marriott, Homewood Suites by Hilton Denver and Hilton Garden Inn Denver Downtown.
Tuks-Tuks, Pedicabs, and Taxis allow you to advertise to people who are coming and going. This includes convention attendees as well as those in the area for other events. These vehicles are often used to transport employees, VIP’s, company executives and guests from hotels and event back and forth. While in action these act as great mobile billboards.
The tuk-tuks can be fully branded with ad wraps, backlit panels, and provide an awesome outlet for sampling opportunities, experiential marketing and giveaways. The pedicabs feature ad wraps as well as branding drivers who will promote your product. Taxis are used to take people around the city, but they’re also utilized as a shuttle to and from the airport and local hotels (there is a staging area set up right in front of the center). You can choose double-sided taxi ads that are backlit and visible during all times of day and night.
The Colorado Convention Center and the areas around it is never not busy – New York may be the city that never sleeps, but neither does this area of Denver. Take advantage of this and contact us today!
